Dorota Kamińska
Dorota Kamiska graduated in Automatic Control and Robotics and completed postgraduate studies in Biomedical image processing and analysis at Lodz University of Technology. She received her PhD degree from Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering at Lodz University of Technology in 2014.
She gained experience during the TOP 500 Innovators program at Haas School of Business, University of California in Berkeley. An educator and researcher at Institute of Mechatronics and Information Systems, a founder and a leader of the Voxel Research Lab, currently focusing her academic pursuits on cutting-edge VR and AR applications.
She is an Associate Editor and Guest Lead Editor of several journals. She has received several national and European Research grants and has been involved in many international industrial projects. She has published over 80 scientific works and has been organising challenges and workshops in ECML19, FG20, FG24. She is passionate about biomedical signal analysis and practical applications of machine and deep learning. As a participant of many interdisciplinary and international projects, she is constantly looking for new challenges and possibilities of self-development.
