DCU signs MOA with Universiti Kuala Lumpur
Dublin City University signed a Memorandum of Agreement today with Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) at the Education Ireland Networking Event in Malaysia.
The MOA was signed in the presence of (l-r) Irish Ambassador to Malaysia, H.E. Eamon Hickey, Prof. Dr. Shahrulniza Musa, Deputy President of UniKL (Academic & Technology), the Director of DCU International Office, Paul Smith, Minister for Education, Richard Bruton, and the Director of Education Ireland at Enterprise Ireland, Giles O'Neill. It highlights both universities' commitment to building a collaborative relationship of mutual benefit.
The agreement forms part of the university's Internationalisation Strategy, which is vitally important for DCU's reputation, standing and future sustainability as an institution. Internationalisation allows for staff and student mobility and enhanced learning, alongside the capacity to develop complex international research activities and a diverse network of global connections.
