DCU President offers condolences following Berkeley tragedy

“It is with deep shock and sadness that we learned of the terrible loss of young life in this week’s events in Berkeley. DCU offers its most profound sympathies to the family and friends of all the victims in the aftermath of this terrible event.  The promise of these bright young lives has been extinguished and that loss will be keenly felt by our colleagues in campuses across Dublin. DCU student, Hannah Waters, was injured in the incident and the DCU community sends its heartfelt best wishes to her for a speedy recovery to full health. Our thoughts are with Hannah’s friends and family at this difficult time and we thank all of the DCU students in Berkeley who continue to support each other.”
