DCU launch online hub #MyDCU for all new and returning students
A new dedicated online hub for new and returning DCU students with information, news, a personalised calendar, student supports and online campus events is now available.
The #MyDCU hub - which is on the DCU online learning platform Loop - has been live since early September.
#MyDCU is a new and exciting addition to Loop, bringing together for the first time, supports and elements from DCU Student Support & Development, the Office of Student Life, Clubs & Societies and DCU Students’ Union.
The main objective of #MyDCU is to keep students informed of DCU’s campus life and experiences, linking together the services and supports from across the university.
#MyDCU is being rolled out for Orientation for new students, before it transforms into an information hub for all DCU students from the beginning of Semester 1 on October 5th.
'My DCU' is fully mobile responsive and for the best user experience, those using a mobile device should log on to http://loop.dcu.ie - rather than going through the app.
Speaking about the launch of #MyDCU, Director of Student Support and Development Claire Bohan said,
“This resource will ensure that students stay connected to DCU even if they can’t be on site at times. At a glance, they will see what’s happening on campus/online, they can register for events and link up with classmates. It’s a one-stop-shop for all things DCU outside of the classroom.”
