Hazim Hamza receives his certificate as DCU Government of Ireland Scholar at the Department of Education

Government award to DCU Indian student

The Irish government has awarded talented DCU Indian student Hazim Hamza a speical scholarship to complete postgraduate engineering studies at Ireland’s best young university.

The Government of Ireland Scholarship is awarded on merit to exceptional Indian students and includes a full fee waiver and a €10,000 stipend to cover living expenses.

Hazim is currently studying for a Masters in Engineering at the Centre for Image Processing and Analysis (CIPA) in the Faculty of Engineering and Computing at Dublin City University.

The Centre for Image Processing and Analysis (CIPA) at DCU is primarily comprised of researchers from the university’s Vision Systems Group (VSG) along with a wide range of industrial and biomedical partners. 

CIPA acts as the focus for Image Processing & Quantitative Image Analysis research in DCU. 

CIPA is one of three research centres within the RINCE, an Irish national research institute focussed on innovation in engineering technologies.
