Undergraduate Graduations 2024

Huge congratulations from the School of Mathematical Sciences to the Class of 2024 in Actuarial Mathematics and Financial Mathematics, who graduated on 24th October. 

This class had the highest number of students on the Dean's Honours list that our School has seen so far, with TJ Griffin, Jack Cromwell, Luca Crone and Conor Walsh all ranking within the top 5% of graduates within their discipline. 

We were delighted to welcome the Chief Executive of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland, Brian Grimes, to give an award to the top performing final-year student in Actuarial Mathematics, TJ Griffin. Many thanks to the SAI for sponsoring this award. 

We would also like to congratulate the top performing final-year student in Financial Mathematics, Conor Walsh, who received his award from Prof. John Appleby. 

We welcomed back Alumni Representative, Aaron Cooney, to speak to the new graduates, as well as Brian Grimes who also shared some words of wisdom. 

We look forward to seeing great things from the Class of 2024 in the years to come and wish them all the best in their future careers.
