Teaching Council Research Award Celebration 2024

On 12th January 2024, Dr. Aidan Fitzsimons and Dr. Eabhnat Ní Fhloinn attended a celebratory event run by the Teaching Council for recipients of Round 6 of the John Coolahan Research Support Framework (RSF).

Dr. Fitzsimons and Dr. Ní Fhloinn were awarded funding under the Research Bursary Scheme for their project "Utilising a mathematical problem-solving module to encourage the development of highly-able students' problem-solving, resilience and mindsets". This funding was awarded under the inclusion strand of the research funding, and involves the roll-out of their project to a number of post-primary schools around the country.
