Society of Actuaries in Ireland Breakfast for First-Year Students

First Year ACM students

On 21st February, first-year Actuarial Mathematics students attended a breakfast meeting in DCU sponsored by the Society of Actuaries in Ireland (SAI).

Guests included Brian Grimes (The Chief Executive of SAI), Chris Wrobleski (Chair of SAI Student Society), Tomas Hayes (SAI Recent Qualifiers Committee), and Fergal McGuirk (Alumnus from ACM Class 2020).

This breakfast meeting provided students with an opportunity to meet and learn from the SAI guests, as well as allowing for informal conversation with staff from the School of Mathematical Sciences.
