Transition Year students enjoy a week of maths

DCU School of Mathematical Sciences was delighted to welcome 24 Transition Year students to its Transition Year Programme which took place from 17th - 21st April 2023. This was organised by both Dr. Martin Friesen and Dr. Paul Razafimandimby.

Participants had the opportunity to partake in taster lectures on a variety of mathematical topics run by different lecturers from the School, as well as undertaking project work in the afternoons. 

Feedback from the pupils involved was very positive and we thoroughly enjoyed welcoming these young mathematicians into our School. We wish them well in their future studies!
