Professor Richard Pring is Emeritus Professor at the Department of Education and Emeritus Fellow of Green Templeton College, Oxford University. He has a lifetime of publications in the Philosophy of Education, with a particular emphasis on common schools, and more recently on the place of faith schools in contemporary society.
