World Meeting of Families
On Thursday 26th October the Mater Dei Centre for Catholic Education hosted a Volunteer Day for the World Meeting of Families on the DCU Institute of Education St. Patrick’s Campus. The day was an enormous success with nearly 50 volunteers of all ages signing on the day.
Volunteering is of enormous personal, social and spiritual benefit. It helps people share their skills and learn new ones, while also contributing to society overall. There are many other reasons to volunteer for WMOF2018; gaining experience, social interaction, and making new friends or simply helping to create this amazing and once in a lifetime event.
