St Brigid's Cross Making Workshop

St Brigid’s Day was celebrated in the MDCCE through a collaboration with DCU Chaplaincy Team who used The Well (D115) as a venue for their St Brigid’s cross making workshop.

The day was organised on a drop in basis and we were graced with the presence of students from a range of programmes, staff from different faculties and some pupils from Corpus Christi.

It was a privilege to hear people share stories of traditions from their localities and it was lovely to connect while engaged in the ancient craft of cross making. Sincere gratitude to the Chaplaincy Team and to all who took part.
