Ian Bell is the manager of the Customer Support team which is dedicated to enhancing the student and staff digital experience by delivering personalised and responsive customer support for your digital journey at DCU.

Team Responsibilities:
  • Walk-in Support Desks: Located on the Glasnevin and St. Patrick’s campuses, we provide immediate help with software issues, account management, cyber security advice and DCU systems. 
  • Online Support: Responsive online support for all your IT-related help requests provided through DCU Help.
  • Self-Service Help Articles: Empowering students and staff with quick and easy access to our library of detailed help articles on DCU Help.
  • Desk-Side Support: Our customer support team will visit your office to resolve complex or insitu support issues (e.g. Wi-Fi connectivity, office printers/multifunction devices).
  • Preventative and Proactive Solutions: Identifying and resolving potential service-impacting issues before you notice them, and using AI tools to enhance our response to support trends and patterns.
  • Customer Support Advocacy: As the customer face of DTS we provide a conduit for your digital needs backed with the full support of our department.
