Ultraviolet
Ultraviolet (UV) is a form of electromagnetic radiation that is after the violet (= light purple) end of the range of (visible light) colours that can be seen by humans. The Sun is a source of the full spectrum of ultraviolet radiation, which is commonly subdivided into UV-A, UV-B, and UV-C.
