Ethics and Education Workshop
Dr Audrey Bryan and Dr Jones Irwin, both from the School of Human Development, were invited speakers at an interdisciplinary workshop organised by UCD School of Education, School of Philosophy, School of Politics and International Relations, and Sutherland School of Law, on Friday 23rd September. The venue was Moot Court, Sutherland School of Law, University College Dublin. The workshop examined various ways in which ethical issues and ethical training enter or ought to enter the primary and secondary school curricula in Ireland and the UK. It aimed to open a dialogue between disciplines, between countries, and between the levels of educational theory and concrete policy.
