From 1-3rd February, 2018 over 200 conference delegates participated in the XV Conference on Social and Behavioural Sciences organized by the International Association of Social Science Research (IASSR) and hosted at Adnan Menderes University, Kusadasi, Turkey.

The multi-disciplinary nature of the conference was reflected in parallel sessions in which experienced and emerging scholars presented papers from a range of disciplines including Education, International Relations, Law, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, History and Geography. The Director of HERC, Professor Slowey, invited to give the opening keynote address spoke on the theme of Universities and Social Engagement.
