HERC hosts Brazilian Researchers for Brazil-Ireland Science Week

HERC hosted researchers from the International Longevity Centre Brazil, as part of a partnership working on technologies to support learning for older adults. The Age-Friendly Technology project aims to help Ireland and Brazil take a leadership role in preparing their societies for the multi-faceted opportunities and challenges of an ageing population. To mark the inaugural Brazil-Ireland Science Week, a summit was held at Dublin Castle on 25th February organised by Research Brazil Ireland, an initiative of Science Foundation Ireland to promote scientific collaboration between the two nations.
