EUCEN Autumn Seminar
On October 16 2013, the European University Continuing Education Network (EUCEN) hosted its 2013 Autumn Seminar in Brussels.
The autumn seminar included presentations from EC officers on the new dimensions of ERASMUS and Horizon 2020 programmes with relevance for the development of the role of higher education institutions in Europe as partners in R&D relating to lifelong learning. In addition, the seminar provided a forum for the exchange of experiences in the development and management of European projects as well as a space to explore ideas for new project proposals. The ideas generated by DCU and one of its strategic partners, Strathclyde University, relating to the Age Friendly University attracted considerable interest.
