COMMIT project
COMMIT - committing to the social dimension in universities
HERC is pleased to be the Irish partner on this new project, supported under the EU Lifelong Learning Programme. COMMIT will be co-ordinated by EUCEN (the European Universities Continuing Education Network). In addition to Ireland, other partners in the project include universities from Belgium, Finland, France, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Greece, Romania, Spain and Hungary.
This project builds on the work of a previous project called ALLUME (A lifelong learning university model for Europe), which developed 3 self evaluation tools to help universities reviewing their internal strategy for the implementation of a comprehensive and coherent Lifelong Learning university approach.
The project will run from October 2013 until May 2016.
