Global Deposit Refund Request

*Please note that this form is only for non-EU students, EU students should submit requests directly to fees@dcu.ie*

Please complete the form below only once if you are a non-EU applicant seeking a refund for your deposit or tuition fees before registration. Note that the DCU acceptance deposit is typically non-refundable, except in cases where the offer conditions have not been met or a visa application has been denied. If either of these situations applies to you, please include relevant documentation when submitting the form. Additionally, a €150 administration charge will be retained on all refunds (deposits and fees).

If you're seeking a refund due to extenuating circumstances (ie. serious illness, family bereavement, etc), please provide a detailed explanation and any supporting documentation. The University will review your claim on a case by case basis.

For your claim to be successful, submit the form only once! and please ensure that you are not registered at DCU. Please note that any refunds will be issued in Euro and credited to the original credit card or bank account that was used to make the payment. We are not responsible for any fees imposed by financial institutions or for currency value fluctuations.

Please note, the fees office will not process any refund requests until the 1st of August due to scheduled updates.
