DCU welcomes Brazilian researchers

Dublin City University (DCU) is preparing to welcome talented young Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths researchers from Brazil as part of the Science Without Borders (Ciência sem Fronteiras) programme, a Brazilian government initiative which aims to place 100,000 Brazilians in overseas higher education institutions over the next four years. The objective of the programme is to bridge the skills and capacity gaps which have developed as Brazil has expanded to become the sixth largest economy in the world.

The first students are expected to arrive at DCU in early 2013, building on DCU's long history of links with Brazil including successful partnerships with Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and Universidade Estadual Paulista 'Júlio de Mesquita Filho' (UNESP). Participants can take part in an impressive list of over 170 programmes at DCU.
