Anti-Corruption in Ireland: Challenges and Opportunities

Join DCU's newly established Anti-Corruption Research Centre (ARC) for their first online event on Monday, July 13th at 1:00PM.

This event will see a conversation between the Chief Executive of Transparency International Ireland, John Devitt, and Co-Director of DCU's Anti-Corruption Research Centre, Dr. Rob Gillanders as they discuss how we can strengthen Ireland's anti-corruption regime. The conversation will be followed by a live Q&A.

This event is free to attend.

DCU Anti-Corruption Research Centre

DCU's Anti-Corruption Research Centre aims to devise solutions and strategies to address a global issue that is estimated to cost almost $4 trillion dollars annually in bribes and stolen money, not to mention the devastating social and economic consequences for communities across the world.

ARC is Ireland’s first academic research centre dedicated to research, policy and education on corruption and anti-corruption with the aim of tackling an international issue, which according to United Nations Secretary General António Guterres “is a problem that is present in all nations, rich and poor.”
