Dr Catherine Day - Women in Leadership Lecture Series

Dr Catherine Day, former Secretary General of the European Commission, will deliver a lecture at Dublin City University on Wednesday 6th March as part of University’s International Women’s Day celebrations. The event will also see the launch of DCU’s Women in Leadership Annual Report 2018.

As the first woman to hold the role of Secretary General of the European Commission, a post she held from 2005 to 2015, and formerly Director General for Environment, Dr Catherine Day plans to share details of her personal leadership journey to date.

This event is part of the Mary McAleese Women in Leadership Lecture Series which features talks from a range of high profile successful women leaders who share their stories including the challenges they faced in becoming role models. The series will also include a range of workshops on a variety of topics including coaching, networking and returning from maternity leave.
