Bert Gordijn trains the members of the National Bioethics Committee of Malawi (Lilongwe, Malawi 2017)
The second training of the National Bioethics Committee in Malawi took place in Lilongwe, Malawi, from 22 to 26 May 2017. This training focused on spearheading the development, review and assessment of national policies, procedures, guidelines, regulations and standards within the research and development enterprise pertaining to bioethics. It aimed at fostering debate, public awareness, engagement and consciousness in matters of bioethics at national level.
As part of the global wide effort to mainstream bioethics in research, the UNESCO Regional Office for Southern Africa participated in a live talk show hosted by Zodiac Radio Station on 25th May 2017.
