

EQI Co-Director Dr Martin Brown launches the CRITERIA Report at SCOTENS 2024
The SCOTENS/Shared Island Cultural Responsivity in Teacher Education Research in Action (CRITERIA) report was formally launched at the 2024 SCOTENS Conference in Co. Cavan. The CRITERIA research project, led by EQI Co-Director Dr Martin Brown and involving researchers from EQI, Galway University, Queens University Belfast and Stranmillis University College, explored issues relating to diversity in teacher education on the island of Ireland. Speaking at the event Dr Brown acknowledged the importance of the support provided by the Shared Island Unit and the centrality of the SCOTENS community to the development of meaningful all island research.
