EQI Researchers Present at CREA 2023
EQI researchers Prof Joe O'Hara, Dr Martin Brown, and Prof Aideen Cassidy presented their research at the 7th Centre for Culturally Responsive Evaluation and Assessment Conference in Chicago. Hosted by the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, CREA is the premier conference for scholars and practitioners interested in the connected fields of culturally responsive evaluation and assessment.
EQI researchers presented papers based on their work in the areas of Intercultural Community Evaluation and Planning (ICCEP) and work on culturally responsive initial teacher education in Ireland (CRITERIA).
The conference also gave the wider community mark the recent passing of CREA's founding director and DCU Adjunct Professor, Stafford Hood. A dynamic, committed and supportive research Prof Hood was pivotal in the designation of EQI as the CREA partner in Europe. EQI, along with the wider CREA community, continue to mourn his passing.
