Irish examiner article reflecting on EQI school libraries research

Irish Examiner Education Correspondent, Jess Casey reflects on research undertaken by Breege O'Brienand  EQI Researchers Shivaun O'Brien and John O'Hara into school library provision in Irish post-primary schools. 

Ms Casey highlights the fact that 'notwithstanding the "dedication" of schools to provide libraries despite a lack of national funding, the research found that State support and investment in school library services are "out of line" with education policy and funding in developed countries internationally.'
