Prof Joe O'Hara Awarded Yerevan State University Centenary Medal

EQI Director, Prof Joe O'Hara, was awarded the Yerevan State University Centenary Medal during the closing ceremony for ECER 2022.

EQI Director, Prof Joe O'Hara, was presented with the Yerevan State University (YSU) Silver Memorial Medal at a ceremony during ECER 2022 in Yerevan. The Citation, which was delivered by the Rector of YSU Prof Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, stated that the award was made:

For invaluable contributions to the organization of and promotion of ECER 2022 at Yerevan State University, for inspiring and empowering large-scale collaboration to influence meaningful change in Education in the Republic of Armenia

Speaking after the event Prof O'Hara said that he was deeply honoured to receive such an award on behalf of all of the researchers who had been lucky enough to attend the ECER conference in Armenia and to engage with such a diverse, interesting and rich research culture.
