DCU Sport wins the National Quality Award

DCU Sport are delighted to announce that we have won the National Quality Award for Sport/Leisure Centres from EIQA - Excellent Ireland Quality Association.

The award was presented at a gala dinner in the Burlington Hotel by Minister Mary Hanafin and Irene Collins CEO of EIQA last Friday evening.

Over 2500 companies from manufacturing & service industries throughout Ireland applied for and received the Q mark.

However those with the highest scores were short listed as a national finalist.

This award for best Sports/Leisure Centre of the year celebrates the drive, commitment and achievements of the team here in DCU Sport as well as the support by the wider University community.

This Award puts DCU Sport at the forefront of the industry as a leading sporting facility in Ireland.'The Q-mark is an integral tool within our business model as not only does it provide a framework for quality but also supports and sustains a culture of improvement.
