Academic biography

Julie Brueckner is a PhD research scholar at Dublin City University Business School, supported by the Dublin City University Daniel O'Hare research scholarship scheme.  Her research examines how gender relates to the expression of leaders' achievement, power, and affiliation motivation. She lectures Skills for Success at undergraduate level. Before joining DCU Business School, she obtained her M.Sc. in Work and Organizational Psychology at Maastricht University and gained practical experience in the areas of market research and HRM in a leading e-commerce company.
