2015 Funding Success: Two DCU academics, Prof. Regina Connolly and Dr. Paul Davis from DCU Business School have been successful in winning EU H2020 award of €5.1m

The successful project ‘Magic’ examines pre-commercial procurement relating to 

mobile health technology interventions for post-stroke patients.  It combines a 

consortium of academics and industry partners across Europe.  The research 

proposal has been awarded over €5.1 million from the European Commission 

with over 70% being H2020 funded.  The DCU academics that are leading 

participants in this project are Prof. Regina Connolly and Dr. Paul Davis.  

This recent funding success builds on their two previous H2020 funding 

successes achieved in 2014, which were awarded a total of €8.43 million.
