Procurement Research Centre 2012

Over the last 12 months the Procurement Research Centre based at Dublin City University Business School, headed by Dr. Paul Davis, Programme Director M.Sc in Strategic Procurement at DCU Business School, has firmly established itself with a successful start to building its research and teaching profile. The Procurement Research team involved in the centre has already published extensively including; 12 Public Procurement Publications, 9 Public Procurement Conference Submissions, 4 Journal Articles, 3 Industry Reports, 2 Case Study Competitions and 1 Book Chapter written by Dr. Davis. Over the next 12 months the Procurement Research Centre will be running a series of training days for the Office of Public Works and the Department of Enterprise Trade and Innovation in the areas of public procurement and SME participation. The centre has also been extremely active in both running and participating in national and regional ‘Meet the Buyer Events’ where over 450 organisations (SME’s) have participated in workshops.

The Procurement Research Centre is now looking forward and plans to host the International Public Procurement Conference, 6th August, 2014 which will attract over 350 delegates from over 45 countries to Dublin and DCU Business School.
