Accounting and Finance student wins CIMA prize

The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants award a prize to the B.A in Accounting and Finance student who achieves the highest average mark in the second year modules AC223, Management Accounting: Cost Systems and AC224, Management Accounting: Planning and Control.

This year’s winner Ms. Zhentong Nie, B.A in Accounting and Finance student, was presented with her prize by Ms. Fiona Arnold, Student Recruitment Executive, CIMA Ireland (Left) and facilitated by CIMA Advocate for DCU Business School, Dr. Ruth Mattimoe (Right).

This is only the second year of the prize and it serves to offer recognition to the Management Accounting element of the B.A. in Accounting and Finance, as well as raising awareness among students of the CIMA qualification. DCUBS is very grateful to CIMA for their sponsorship of this cash prize and would like to congratulate Ms. Zhentong Nie on her achievement.
