Creative Ireland Award
The DCU Centre for Possibility Studies has been awarded a grant to support the development of a new book aligned with the Creative Ireland Programme’s mission of embedding creativity across public policy. This book will provide a robust research foundation, highlighting the central role of creativity in human wellbeing and its increasing significance in an era of transformative technologies. Scheduled for submission by the end of 2025, the book will feature contributions from leading experts and will play a key role in Ireland’s participation at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. The Expo theme, ‘Creativity Connects People,’ reflects the Creative Ireland Programme’s vision, aiming to showcase creativity as a critical component of individual and societal wellbeing while strengthening ties with Japan in education, research, and innovation. The book is edited by Michael O’Reilly and is expected to be published by Palgrave Macmillan.
