Deferred Entry- Central Applications Office 

The University will endeavor to facilitate students who have received an offer and wish to defer that offer until the following academic year. 

Please see the DCU CAO deferral process below: 

• CAO deferral requests are time sensitive and not guaranteed as places are limited.
• If you wish to defer an offer of a place you do not accept your offer.
• You must submit your request via the form below at least two days before the reply date shown on the Offer Notice. Deferral requests outside of this time frame can not be guaranteed.
• Email deferral requests without completion of the form, or incomplete forms, cannot be processed.
• The admissions team will respond by email to confirm if the deferral request can be facilitated.

Please note, it is not possible to be granted more than one CAO deferral for the same programme.
