Azets Ireland announced as new sponsor of DCU Sport

Deal will help fund sport scholarships for talented students at Dublin City University

Professional services firm Azets Ireland have today been announced as the new sponsor of DCU Sport.

The sponsorship funding will support the overall DCU Sport programme, including the scholarship fund and other programme costs such as coaching and specialist equipment. Azets Ireland will be the main shirt sponsor across DCU sport teams, and will also be the named sponsors of the DCU Sports Scholarships Awards Event.

DCU Sport scholarships help support the holistic development of talented athletes, and recognises their increasing need to successfully balance both academic and sporting commitments. The Sport Scholarship programme is an athlete-led development programme whereby a network of support services and expertise are tailored to the individual needs of the athlete, across a range of sports including Gaelic Football, Athletics, Hurling, Camogie, Basketball and Rugby.

Dublin City University currently has more than 40 Sports clubs across a range of disciplines, catering to students of all capabilities, ranging from casual players to elite level athletes. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, DCU was proud to have two current students and 10 alumni representing Team Ireland in Rugby 7s, Boxing, Swimming and Athletics.
