DCU Careers Service will host a number of online events aimed at the DCU Class of 2022 from Tuesday, 3rd May until Thursday, 5th May.

Building your Graduate LinkedIn Profile with Accenture, Tuesday 3rd May 2022, 10.00 am - 11.00 am Register here

Join this session to hear from Accenture about how you can make the most of LinkedIn as a networking tool, for building your professional brand and as a tool in your job search. In this session, you will gain insights from recruiters who use LinkedIn to recruit graduates so you will know how to effectively build your profile and stand out from the crowd. 

 

Getting work-ready - Guest Speakers, Ibec and Coca Cola, Tuesday 3rd May 2022, 11.15 am - 12.30 pm  Register here

Gain tips from our speakers from Ibec and Coca-Cola on what to expect when entering the workplace as a graduate, career well-being and what companies are doing in this regard. This session will also cover career transitions and becoming career confident.

 

Preparing for your first teaching role, Tuesday 3rd May 2022, 4.30 pm - 6.00 pm. Register here

This session will cover registering and job searching for opportunities with Dublin and Dun Laoghaire Education & Training Board (DDLETB), building your competencies, and making successful Teaching applications. It will also look at teaching contracts, salary, and preparing for your first teaching role. While this session is delivered by Principals and HR professionals from DDLETB, it will be relevant to all ETB schools and a lot of the information will be relevant for teaching applications in general.

Hear from the perspective of graduate Primary School Teachers in Dublin and Dun Laoghaire Education & Training Board (DDLETB) schools at this session. This session will also cover how to be your best at interview, interview questions to prepare for and teaching competencies.
