Join DCU’s Prof Christian Kaunert and Dr Jivanta Schottli for a discussion with leading Irish diplomat and MA in International Relations alumnus, Ambassador Pat Bourne, as they explore how Ireland’s role in global politics is changing in the context of Brexit, the Covid-19 pandemic, and shifting geostrategic alliances, with a particular focus on Ireland’s relationship with Asian states. 

The conversation will reflect on how Ireland can – bilaterally and multilaterally – play a role in tackling global challenges, from climate crisis to violent conflict.
