The Centre for Engaged Research, has the pleasure of inviting you to a new edition of DCU Centre for Engaged Research Lecture Series 2022.

 

The next lecture in this series is entitled Addressing Ageism Today.

by  Trudy Corrigan, Mary Harkin and Ciaran McKinney (Age & Opportunity).



Trudy Corrigan  is a co-founder of DCU Age Friendly University and assistant professor in the School of Policy and Practice.

Mary Harkin is the Policy, Research and Evaluation Manager for Age & Opportunity, and Ciaran McKinney is the Engage Programme Manager.

The lecture will discuss the impact of ageism through the lens of the 2021 World Health Report on ageism, aiming to change the stereotyping, attitudes and behaviours associated with ageing.
