CIRD Becomes a Charter For Compassion Partner
As compassion is a keystone of all religions and social justice ideologies, it is fitting that CIRD supports the work and mission of The Charter for Compassion.
Without compassion, there can be no real, trusting dialogue and engagement. Without compassion for all people and sentient beings, there can be no lasting peace. But with compassion, we can recognise ourselves in one another and in the world around us.
The Charter for Compassion was envisioned by Karen Armstrong and has grown into a global movement spanning the world’s faiths and major philosophies. Inspirational and information videos on the charter and the global compassion movement can be found here.
The CIRD’s link on the Charter for Compassion site can be accessed here.
