Anglican Interfaith Commission Regional Network for Europe and North America
Rev. Prof. Anne Lodge attended the second annual meeting of the Anglican Interfaith Commission Regional Network for Europe and North America in Cardiff, Wales on 8th and 9th September 2019.
She and her two fellow Irish delegates Rev. Suzanne Cousins and Archbishop Michael Jackson (Chair of the Network) met and worked with colleagues from Wales, Scotland, England and the United States. This was a wonderful opportunity to share insights, experiences and concerns about ongoing, important interfaith engagement across a range of jurisdictions.
It was lovely to meet in the Pierhead Building on the Welsh Assembly campus in Cardiff and a great privilege to hear and meet the Welsh First Minister Mark Drakeford AM. Great credit to Rev. Dr. Ainsley Griffiths and Rev. Canon Aled Edwards for their warm welcome and the superb organisation of a very productive meeting.
We look forward to meeting again in Edinburgh in September 2020.
