Photography Request Form
The Department of Communications, Marketing and Events can provide photography to units and departments across DCU.
All photography requests must be made at least a week in advance of your event. Due to high demand and to ensure best use of time, we ask that you fill in this form.
This information will help us plan for the task, clarify if any props are required, the signing of consent forms, and help us with correct captioning ensuring the images are searchable both internally and on external platforms.
Please note that there is no fee applied for Staff Profile photography.
The fee for internal photography operating inside core hours (9am to 5pm Monday to Friday) is €30 per half hour spent on each assignment. Please note that the time the photographer spends shooting and editing photographs post shoot is charged for. The more information you input into this form, the more this will help captioning and means less time editing.
If the event takes place outside core hours, the fee is €60 per half hour.
All funds raised are invested in new equipment and maintenance of equipment for the Visuals team.
In the event the internal photographer is not available, we can recommend an external photographer to you. Please note, there is a fee associated with this, for your unit/department to cover.
Once this form is filled in, we will check our calendar and come back to you with confirmation.
VERY IMPORTANT: Due to limited storage, your assets (images) cannot be hosted on our Google Drive. These assets will be shared through Google Drive, it is VITAL that you download these images in their entirety, access to these images will be very limited.
