Site Specific Performances in the Botanic Gardens
On Thursday 6th April, students from the AP303 Drama major specialism Embodiment, Education and the Arts presented their site specific performances in the Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin. These pieces represented the culmination of the students’ engagement with the principles and practices of somatic education throughout the semester. Paula Murphy is currently completing her PhD thesis on embodiment in teacher education, arising from the development and experiences of this module in recent years.
