A very warm welcome to DCU’s Access Service, the home of Ireland’s largest and first university-based Access Programme.
Here at DCU, we have a strong tradition of creating equal access to third-level education for students from under-represented groups in higher education.
DCU Access has created a 'life cycle of engagement' between the university and our Access students, starting from primary school and continuing through graduation.

Access Orientation
A compulsory 1st year Access Orientation programme for all successful HEAR applicants. The 2024 Access Orientation programme will take place on the following dates:
- Thursday 5th September: DCU St Patrick's Campus, Drumcondra. For first years registered with the Access Services and studying on St Patrick's Campus.
- Friday 6th September: DCU Glasnevin Campus. All 1st years registered with the Access Services and studying on Glasnevin Campus.
