Visiting Scholars | Research in DCU

Visiting Scholars

DCU actively welcomes visiting researchers from around the world. Such visits contribute to intellectual life on campus, provide an opportunity for networking and building relationships internationally, and can be the springboard for grant applications, research projects, joint publications and ongoing visits/exchanges between DCU researchers and staff in other research institutions.

Researchers interested in visiting DCU should be aware of the following funding programmes, which are designed to facilitate research collaboration:

DCU International Visitors Programme

The DCU International Visitors Programme is a strategic initiative, designed to assist in creating and building international collaborations to enhance DCU’s research activities. It supports the costs of bringing individuals to DCU who have achieved a high level of distinction in their field, and whose presence on campus is likely to have a significant impact. This is an internal funding scheme where DCU staff nominate the visitor and apply for the funding.
