Geological Survey of Ireland Award

Congratulations to Dr Niamh Cullen, School of History and Geography, on her success in the Geological Survey of Ireland Targeted Projects Call.  Dr. Cullen has been awarded funding to carry out a 24-month project entitled "Estimating shoreline recession rates for coastal hard cliffs using time-series elevation data and additional datasets."  Dr Cullen will act as the Project Lead and will work with partners from Trinity College Dublin, Williams College Massachusetts, and Universidade do Algarve.

MSCA Postdoctoral awards 2023

Congratulations to all the five Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Awardees and their mentor on their success under the extremely competitive MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship call. 

Prof. Christian Kaunert will be mentoring two awardees, Dr Cátia de Carvalho and Dr Alaamgir Khan; Prof. Debbie Ging will be mentoring Dr Veronica Ferreira; Dr Fiona Murphy will be mentoring Dr Ian Cook; and Dr Marina Efthymiou will be mentoring Dr Luis Martin-Domingo for the duration of their fellowship. We would like to wish the awardees the very best in their projects, and we look forward to hearing about their outputs in the future.
