Indian Film Series: Pink

The Indian Film Series will resume on Tuesday at 6pm in C124 (Glasnevin Campus) with the showing of Pink.

Pink is a 2016 movie. Pink is the story of three Delhi girls - Minal (Taapsee), Falak (Kirti) and Andrea (Andrea) - on the run after one of them escapes a molestation attempt by a pig-headed, powerful guy, Rajveer (Angad). Minal attacks Rajveer with a bottle injuring him grievously. Praised by media in India and internationally, Pink is a product of its time. Indian Express declared that 'finally, a powerful, brave Hindi mainstream film which focuses on real young women who live real lives and deal with thorny day-to-day issues, which young women the world over will identify and relate with.'
