Agresso
Agresso is the purchasing system used in DCU. It is intended for use by DCU staff and other authorized personnel familiar with the University's purchasing procedures.
Within the purchasing system, users are able to raise sales orders, requisition, run budget reports and pay for commitments to suppliers.
The Purchase Administrator (buyer) in your department/area needs to submit a web form request with all the relevant details to Finance Systems.
ISS do NOT have access to setup Agresso accounts.
- You must be logged into the Pulse VPN on a DCU managed Windows computer to access web Agresso.
- Mac users can only access Agresso through AppConnect.
- Agresso back office is only available through AppConnect.
- Agresso is available to post graduate students only through AppConnect.
On the Agressso login screen you need to enter username (e.g bloggsj) and password, you must also manually enter AD in the domain box
All information on how to use the system once logged in can be found on the DCU Finance webpage - see link below
Currently Postgraduate students access Agresso/TORA via the AppConnect system.
However, Agresso will soon be moving to a fully cloud based system that will not work with AppConnect. For security reasons ALL users of Agresso on the cloud will need to use the DCU VPN.
To continue to give Postgraduate Research students access to Agresso a new system will be put in place. This new system will give students access to Agresso via the DCU VPN.
All users of the DCU VPN must be on a DCU managed device for security reasons so if students do not have a DCU issued device the must use an on-campus device to access the VPN and therefore Agresso.
The process to get access is as follows:
- Request access from Finance for the student to Agresso/TORA
- After Finance have given access raise a ticket with ISS (dcu.ie/iss) to get access to the VPN
Communications will be issued to all relevant parties before this new policy goes live. Existing Agresso/TORA users will be automatically moved to the new system and will not need to request VPN access.
