GUEST PRINTING

 
Guest Printing

Guest Printing is available for visitors to DCU to that do not have a DCU account for printing.

It is available in the DCU libraries on the Glasnevin and St. Patrick's campuses using the Konica Minolta printers in the open areas.

Guests can use their own laptops to upload documents to print or a DCU computer if they have been granted access.

To use the service, collect the Guest print voucher from the ISS Student Service Desk in either of the campus libraries.

The account balance of the voucher is €0.00 when you collect it and you can then top up the credit online as below.

Photocopying and scanning are also available once logged into the printer and credit are available on the guest print account.

*Please note that the minimum payment is €2 and refunds are not issued.

 

How To Add Credit
      • Visit print.dcu.ie from any browser and log in to the print website with the username and password provided on the voucher.
      • To add credit for printing, go to 'Payment' in print.dcu.ie.
      • Then 'Recharge credit', then 'Electronic payment'.
      • Fill in the card details and the amount* you want to top up and click 'pay'.

 

How To Print
      • Save the document locally on the computer, this is just for printing purposes.
      • You shouldn’t permanently save anything in any area of the local C drive on any DCU computer.
      • Go to 'Upload job' in print.dcu.ie and then 'Select files'.
      • Locate the file from the pc and double-click on the file or drag and drop it to the space provided and then click 'Upload'.
      • To print the document, log on to the printer with the username and password provided on the Guest Print Voucher using the touch screen on the printer.
      • Once logged on to the printer, select 'SafeQ Print', highlight the job, press 'Select all', then hit the green print button and the job will print out.

 

*You will only be able to print to the MJ Flood Konica Minolta printers.

 

Guest printing is only available to people outside of DCU.

Students and staff of DCU must use their own DCU accounts for printing.

If you forget the password or lose the Guest print voucher, you will need to contact the ISS Service Desk to reset your password. The account can not be used for any other DCU system.
