Academic biography

Claire Kearney is a lecturer in Finance at DCU Business School and her teaching interests include Fixed Income Securities, Risk Management and Capital Markets . She holds a B.A(mod) Econ/BBS from Trinity College Dublin and a M.A in Economics from University College Dublin. Prior to joining DCU she worked in investment management and was a director of Montgomery Oppenheim Investment Managers, an IFSC investment management company. She is co-director of the Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Energy Finance and co-director of the Masters in Investment Treasury and Banking. She is a Group Leader for PLATO on behalf of DCU. Her research interests are macro-finance, fixed income and interest rate modeling and empirical asset pricing.
